“We started Prime last year with the launch of Hydration, a healthier sports drink alternative that comes in a bottle,” a spokesperson for Prime said. “Prime Energy, sold in a can, dropped in 2023 and contains a comparable amount of caffeine to other top-selling energy drinks. It complied with all FDA guidelines before hitting the market and states clearly on packaging, as well as in marketing materials, that it is an energy drink and is not made for anyone under the age of 18.” While 200mg of caffeine for a 12oz can of Prime Energy is almost a 50% higher concentration than 180mg for a 16oz Monster Energy drink, one serving of Prime Energy is still below the recommended maximum daily dosage of 400ml and is naturally vegan and sugar free. You can have two!

Taking a look at Prime’s non caffeinated offerings including their new Hydration + Sticks line, the theme of healthier sports drinks still ring true and are not just sugar water accomplices to a new “Caffeinegate”. Boasting more of the hard-to-find electrolytes potassium and magnesium than the very popular hydration stick pack LMNT, prime follows through on its commitment to make functionable products for its followers. “We’ve been humbled by the process of creating a real brand & surpassing some of the biggest beverage companies in the world.” Logan Paul remarks. “As underdogs, we always cherish the opportunity to show the world what’s possible.”
